Here’s some tips on how to change your lifestyle to lose weight without putting your body into shock.

1. In the morning, get up and do 15 star jumps. They aren’t hard, they are quick to do and they wake you up and give you some energy instantly in the morning.

2. Tell people that you are changing your lifestyle to lose weight, some people may claim that this is the wrong thing to do. But I feel that the more people that know what you are doing the harder it is to stop. And if you tell the right people you will get morale support to boot.

3. If your workplace is close, just walk there. Walking is not hard, you get fresh air and you drop those calories. People often recommend this and for a good reason but it seems the most overlooked tip.

4. Drink more water instead of fizzy drinks. Pour those fizzy drinks down the drain if you have any left in the fridge. Every time you have a craving for beer or fizzy drink it’s most likely due to you being thirsty, so just drink some water and the cravings will go.
